Where to leave the car

Front and back
  • About five spots directly in front of the store
  • A dozen or so more in the back lot
  • Free, all day

If you're stopping just for Wrapples, the back lot is usually quieter.

Before You Come
A short list

Three things worth knowing.

Reserve a Wrapple

In season

If Wrapples are on your mind, call ahead. The bakery holds them for you. The apples come from a nearby orchard and the season runs until around June.

Thirty flavors, hand-dipped

In the old post-office room

The ice-cream parlor is the back room with the table and chairs. It used to be the post office. Hershey's, sundaes, milkshakes.

Penny candy is still on the counter

More than a penny now

Bring a dollar for the kids. The candy drawers are near the register. Also: toys, books, small things that fit in a pocket.

In the town center

While you're on Main Street.

Williamsburg's town center is small on purpose. The four buildings everyone names are the General Store, the Williamsburg Market, the Meekins Library, and the post office — all within a short walk of each other.
